View and compare two word documents side by side in SoftMaker TextMaker while scrolling through them simultaneously. This method is ideal for efficiently comparing revised documents with their originals. Follow these steps:

1. Open Documents: Open the two documents you wish to compare, either in separate windows or as tabs within the same application.
2. Enable Side-by-Side View: Go to the ribbon and select View | Side by Side group | View Side by Side. If more than two documents are open, TextMaker will prompt you to choose which documents to display.

Synchronize Scrolling

The Synchronize Scroll feature is enabled by default, allowing both documents to scroll in unison. To turn off this feature, click the Synchronize Scroll button.

Adjust and Restore Window Layouts

Resize the windows by dragging their edges. Use the Restore Positions command to reset them to a uniform side-by-side arrangement.
